Definition of feature:
The Hyattsville Legacy Tour logo is a graphic icon that will serve to identify and positively brand the Tour in all interpretive and way-finding media.
Specifications:
- Design must be simple and easy to read and reproduce well in a variety of media and sizes-- not intricate or cluttered (to
accommodate media such as small street sign, sidewalk stamp process) - Design may incorporate Tour abbreviation (HLT -- Hyattsville Legacy Tour) and/or thematic image (e.g., house/tree/path)
- Design must accommodate four directional arrow placements around the perimeter (see example of street sign on online spec) -- thus, square or circle works best
- Color scheme should complement the following: a) ATHA sign standard; b) City logo; c) Street sign standard (blue version) -- unless logo done in monochrome for street signs; d) Sidewalk concrete 2-color dye process (generally, earth tones work best -- one field color and one color for the stamp imprint)
- The following versions must be supplied:
a. Street sign version (4", monochromatic)
b. Sidewalk imprint version (10", two color)
c. Landmark sign version (2"-4", full color)
d. Brochure version (2", full color)
e. JPEG version for Web applications (full color)
