Riverdale Park and Hyattsville have a lot in common - similar houses, people and roads. We even share some of the same streets - where the even side is Hy and the odd side is RP. Some kind of mutual wiki could make a lot of sense.

As a Riverdale Park (RP) resident, I am impressed with Hyattsville’s online community. I have been shy to make comments on this wiki for fear of “butting in.” I would very much welcome an opportunity to add RP to the wiki.

I worry that opening it up too large might become a huge amount of work. Perhaps it can be incremental - start with Riverdale Park and see how that goes. Of course, a little up front thought on how it would look if multiple cities and towns were represented might point us in the right direction. (There is http://local.wikia.com which says it is a wiki for towns all across the country, but I am not very impressed by it).

As Dwight points out, this is really up to Hyattsville folks. I would not feel snubbed if you wanted to keep it just for Hy. But I would love to give it a try.

Thanks

There is also http://www.americantowns.com which is a wiki for towns. It has some content, but nothing like this. It groups nearby towns together. Their HY entry says "and 5 nearby communities". Do you find this valuable?
